The LOLITA ALONZO business of fashion creative craft began with the inspiration of a young lady that grew up at the foot pedal of her Mother's sewing machine. While her mother owned and operated an upscale alteration shop in the heart of Buckhead (A-1 Alterations), Lolita worked side by side her for over 25 years mastering the art of professional alteration and also building her own creative designing skills and aesthetics. Lolita Alonzo has designed for numerous clients as well as showcasing designs at the 2008/2009 Rhythm on the Runway held in Columbus Georgia. She also held the position of stylist and fashion desginer in 2009 through 2014 for BronnerBrothers top hair care company NuExpression. Lolita Alonzo also became a part of the design team for Salons Unlimited Magazine during the 2009 Flashing Lights Professional Product Expo. Lolita Alonzo has spent many years designing for a countless amount of personal clients and creating elaborate garments that inspire the art for fashion in a classy, sassy and unique way that simply amazes every fashionista to stay on top of her fashion game.
After over 35 years of hard work and dedication, to personalizing each of her new and long time clientele, she has now made the decision to take on the opportunity to scale back. She has not left the fashion industry completely, but will now be dedicating the skills which she has mastered, strickly to the art of designing. Therefore she will no longer be offering the custom clothier nor alterations, but will be using the time to quietly build on the designing side of her brand as well as taking on new career paths.
